About Me
About Me

Hello, I’m Meg.

I'm soon to graduate from Curtin University, Perth. I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing and Publishing through Open Universities. Guided by honesty, curiosity and integrity, I have a keen interest in creative fiction and non-fiction. I'm a signed children’s author. My debut work, Graham Learns to Listen will be available through Austin Macauley Publishers.

With a focus on research and editing, I'm interested in producing the copy that represents your interests and needs. Used to working in a demanding and high-pressure workplace, I'm inspired by deadlines and will strive to produce quality content that entertains and informs the wider community.

Key Skills

Communication

I communicate in a professional and compassionate manner with staff and clients. I understand the importance of establishing and maintaining a trusting, approachable and honest relationship with my clients and colleagues.

I have given speeches to over 100 people while working as a wildlife keeper, and enjoy the challenge of writing provocative and informative speeches for clients.

Leadership

As part of a team working in a large hospital environment, my duties include assisting veterinarians and patients with advanced imagery, endoscopy, and intensive nursing.

I have been in a senior role as Medicine Nurse for five years. This entails liaising with specialist veterinarians, interns, junior nurses, department heads and clients to manage the day in a professional and timely fashion.

Problem Solving

I am highly proficient in maintaining patient records and following implemented procedures and protocols.

I am confident working autonomously, to deadlines and in high pressure situations. Problem solving and multitasking is a driving force in my daily work environment.
